Independent sales representative

To be an independent sales representative, strong communication and negotiation skills, prior sales experience, the ability to work independently, and a self-motivated attitude; while a college degree in business or marketing may be preferred, it's not mandatory.

Key requirements:

Sales experience: Prior experience in sales is usually required, demonstrating proven ability to close deals and manage customer relationships.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for building rapport with clients, presenting products, and handling objections. A secondary language, Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese is a plus.
Self-motivation: As an independent contractor, you need to be self-driven and manage your own time effectively to achieve sales goals.
Relationship building: Ability to establish strong connections with potential clients and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Product knowledge: Deep understanding of the products or services you are selling to effectively answer customer questions and address concerns.
Time management: Efficiently managing your schedule to prioritize leads, follow-up with clients, and meet deadlines.
Negotiation skills: Confidence in negotiating pricing and terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
